Let me tell you about myself.
I'm just an ordinary guy. A working guy.
I own and operate an eighteenwheeler.
I'm a candidate for the United States
Senate in the State of Tennessee.

I am running in that state's Democrat Primary.
PLATFORM:
Unlike any other candidate you have ever had – I am stating the basis upon which all of my votes will be cast, so that there will never be any confusion in your mind as to how
I am going to vote or where I stand on any issue or bill.
I WILL VOTE AGAINST ANY LEGISLATION OR PROPOSALS WHICH WOULD INCREASE THE SIZE, COST, REACH OR EXPAND THE POWER OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT’S “NEW DEAL” – HAS BROUGHT "

LIKEWISE, I WILL VOTE AGAINST ANY TREATY OR PROPOSED “DEAL”
WHICH WOULD INCREASE THE SIZE, COST, REACH OR POWER OF THE

IF THIS PROPOSAL IS PASSED, WILL IT INCREASE THE SIZE, COST, REACH OR
EXTEND THE POWER OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OVER US?
OR IF THIS TREATY OR DEAL IS PUT TO THE SENATE, Will it increase the
power or expand the reach of this NEW WORLD ORDER AND DIMINISH THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE UNITED STATES?

Remember this... if a candidate representing this viewpoint does not make it through the primaries, you don’t have a candidate in November.
If you want to know where another candidate stands, ask how he is going to vote on the same bills. If his answer is anything but a clear NO - Reject that candidate.

The lesson learned is that you must have a firm definitive answer to the question you’ve asked, otherwise reject the candidate as being a liar who like Howard Baker,
concealed his intentions.
If you get a chance watch the Presidential Debates. Ask the following question.
Are these candidates proposing an expansion in the SIZE of the Government?
Are they proposing an expansion in the COST of the Government?
Are they proposing an increase in the POWER of the Government?
Are they in favor of increasing the REACH of the Government?
(Reach meaning that the Government does something next month that it
didn't do two weeks ago.)
Political Experience..
I’m 54 years old and have over 50 years of political experience.
Now that I have your attention please read the rest of the story.

Some went left.
Some went right.
The vast majority stood on the side and wondered what the others were fighting about,
which is what you are doing.
We know what the result of that was.
If you continue to sit on the sidelines we will have the same result here.

I will vote NO on everything.
I am an expert on reducing the size of government.

Why am I running as a Democrat?
Because I have a friend with similar principles and beliefs running as a Republican.
The only way we can get our voices heard is to run for office.
I'm running so that the people of Tennessee have a clear choice between less government and more individual responsibility---which you can only get by voting for me - OR- more government and less individual responsibility which you can get by doing nothing or keep doing what you have been doing.
There is one thing of which you can be certain!
If you keep doing what you have been doing and our enemies keep doing what they have been doing, they are going to succeed in creating a dictatorship in this country.
VOTE FOR ME!!!!!
Think about running for office: preferably the United States House of Representatives.
Your platform should be straight forward and very simple:
"I'll vote no on any bill which would expand the Size, Cost, Power and Reach of the Government"
So it doesn't matter if you run as a Democrat or Republican.
Our opponents don't know anything either.
But they are committed to voting yes on everything!!!!!!!!!

Most important. Go to a political meeting. Any political meeting. Don't advocate anything.
Ask the speaker the following question....
"If what you are proposing becomes law;
Will it increase the size of the government?
Will it increase the cost of the government?
Will it increase the power of the government?
Will it extend the reach of the government?"
Then watch how quickly the meeting shuts down. The dirty little secret is that all of these politicians WANT BIGGER GOVERNMENT and that is killing us. If you go out and start asking that question, it will be impossible for anyone running for office to advocate
more government as a solution.

I would like to travel the nation in my truck and see signs for my campaign from Florida to Maine. Maine to Washington State. Washington State to California. California to Florida and all points in between.
If we are to recover our stolen liberties and freedoms we need a true grass-roots effort.
After I am elected, I would try to persuade my fellow legislators to roll back the
Size, Cost, Reach and Power of the government in exactly the reverse fashion in which these increases occurred.
Take 2008 as your zero year. In 2009 all of the increases made in 2008 would be eliminated. In 2010 all of the increases from 2007 would be eliminated. In 2011 all of the increases from 2006 would be eliminated, and so on. Entitlement programs would be exempt from these cuts.
To facilitate this program I will introduce a bill to cut off our money from the thousands of Non-Governmental Organizations whose sole purpose is to promote bigger government disguised as solutions to problems which they themselves have manufactured.
Without the funding for these Non-Governmental Organizations, the entire drive for bigger and bigger government would collapse overnight.
The only other bill that I would introduce would be a bill to abolish forthwith the
Federal Election Commission. This must be done to prevent the Federal Election Commission from making it impossible for anybody to run for office without being approved and endorsed by the bureaucrats who are committed to building a dictatorship.
The purpose of government is to protect the lives and property of its citizens.
With that in mind, my domestic policy would consist of such things as a bill to provide a
3-5 year copyright protection for the fashion industry. This industry is being copycatted and having their designs stolen, manufactured, and produced at bargain basement prices.
At the other end of the economic scale I would introduce a bill to prevent copycat singers from stealing, singing, imitating, selling and distributing, DVD's, and CD's and thus robbing poor artists of their intellectual property.
If this policy had been in place years ago you would have probably never heard of
Glenn Miller, or Georgia Gibbs or a Pat Boone and a host of others too numerous to name. The hundreds upon hundreds of millions of dollars would have gone into the pockets of the artists who have created the art and would have benefited the communities in which the artists lived, instead of going into the hands of imitators and thieves.
The bottom line is that no one can use another's Intellectual Property for a period of 3-5 years without the permission of the creator of said Intellectual Property.
Your vote WILL count. Exercise your individual resposibility to elect a candidate who
will vote NO on any proposal that will increase the Size, Cost, Reach and Power
of the government. Elect a candidate that will vote NO on everything!.
